The service and craftsmanship we received from Mouse and Bear was first class from start to finish. They were friendly, professional, attentive, reliable and also very patient with our ever changing ideas!

They gave excellent advice based on their experience and were innovative in their designs. They were readily available to contact day and night when I had queries or wanted to brainstorm ideas!

They make a perfect team with super efficient Charles, designing, advising and project managing and Ed, a gifted carpenter and perfectionist who is not afraid of hard work!

A tight ship on a big project

Mouse & Bear were recommended to us.

We had bathrooms, bedrooms, wardrobes, flooring, skirting, doors, utility & kitchen all fitted by them.

Starting such a large project I was nervous, but the nerves quickly disappeared after seeing the considerable care and attention to detail taken by Ed (the master craftsman).

Charles is honest, charming & professional; he runs a tight ship and kept the project progressing despite the difficult circumstances of Covid 19. 

They worked very closely with our other trades and both Ed & Charles were always finding solutions or offering expert advice for our renovation & extension project. 

They made life a lot less stressful & we felt safe in their hands.

The quality of the finished project is far better than I could have imagined, and I truly do not think it would have been half as nice without Mouse & Bear (and Pete).

I am forever grateful to Charles, Ed & Peter for making our home so beautiful.

A great extended team

We have been delighted with the work Mouse & Bear have just completed for us. So delighted that we’ve asked them back for further projects after the summer! Excellent workmanship, meticulous attention to detail and brilliant at leaving the house, every day, clean & tidy. They have a great, young, supportive team round them-electrician, plasterer, plumber and painter. We were sorry to see them go!!

Making a house a home

Apartment refurb 'can do'

Mouse and Bear recently completely refurbished our apartment in Framingham. The whole team were fantastic and Charlie project managed the entire thing for us, organising the trades and even taking deliveries for us during lockdown. Kitchen transformation

Now that we have had a couple of months in our new kitchen I thought I should drop you a line so that you might add my comments to your website by way of a testimonial if you see fit.

From the moment we discussed our kitchen project with Charles we knew that we had chosen the right company. He took our ideas and transformed our old tired kitchen into a modern family social space. Perfect change

We had this company fit for us a new kitchen and bathroom. Both projects required extensive alteration and I must say workmanship was excellent. Very clean workmen who are extremely trustworthy. Perfectionist is a good way to describe them. A stress free period of work in which they accommodated changes and alterations that we put forward. A highly recommended team. No worries...

Pulling half the house apart was always going to be traumatic. I always worry about things but you did a great job on time and on budget so the only thing wasted was the worry. We would / have recommended your team to anyone who listens.

I owe huge thanks to Mouse and Bear, who held my hand through a large proportion of my house renovation. They redesigned and replaced my small kitchen and I honestly didn't think such a success could be made out of such a tiny space. They also project managed the replacement of my bathroom, hung new doors throughout and replaced the downstairs flooring. However, my favourite part of the whole house is the space under the stairs which Charles & Ed brought to life from a pencil sketch emailed over during my lunch break. It's fair to say I love my new wine rack and can't recommend Mouse and Bear highly enough.

Chopping board success!

Here is a review from a couple we fitted a kitchen for in Chelmondiston, works included kitchen removal, all new electrical and plumbing works, plastering and fitting the new kitchen with solid oak worktops. we had some spare so made the customer a chopping board.

Utility and kitchen alterations.

The works for this customer in Framlingham included making a slice through a granite worktop to alter kitchen units, install new pipework to a newly built utility room, alter and install new sockets, tile utility room floor and fit new utility room units and worktops.

Who needs TV?

Some kind words from a customer. We removed their existing kitchen, blocked up the doorway and cut in a new archway, fitted a new kitchen complete with all electrical, plumbing and plastering works.
